  1. Thanks for the follow (and incidentally introducing me to your blog!). Loving seeing all the finshes, especially the forever friends one with the girl and her dog. I’m going to enjoy going back through all your old finishes at some point. Lovely photographs as well

  2. Goodness you are busy! The thread? I thought you were showing off your manicure. I’m jealous of those fingers 🙂 which compliment the cardinal nicely.

Your vacation beach cottage scene does look like beach cottages not so terribly far from where I live, Though often , or usually, now, they have garages and storage built underneath, partly as wind-breaks . I’ve never stayed in one.

    • Hello bearspawprint! HAHAH, no, definitely not showing off the manicure but you gave me a great laugh this morning. Thank you. (busy, OMG, yes! tests, papers, readings) Nice to hear from you and I continue to enjoy your blog 🙂

    • ps. Thank you for the compliment. My apologies, for some reason WP only displayed part of your message and when I rechecked msgs in full from Blog Admin, I saw the rest. That is pretty cool to hear that you live close to the beachfront and get to see some of those homes. Like you, I have not stayed in one of those homes either (I have no doubt that the homeowners pay more for insurance than their mortgages!)

  3. It came out very nice! The snow is so appropriate for this time of year (even though I don’t get snow here…I’m going to Chicago next week, though). I love how he’s puffed up keeping himself warm. Smart bird! Good job, friend!

    • Hi Sus!!! Merry Christmas dahhhling! I’m doing okay thanks 🙂 You?

We had a horrible ice storm here and I was one of the lucky ones without power for only a day in my house –I ended up burning a lot of candles for heat and light (I bugged my landlord to prune the tree branches over the power line a few months ago thank goodness) and there are still some families who remain without power for 5 days now :0( (so sad). The upside was seeing how beautiful the trees looked with the ice (despite the danger).

So, all in all, things are good again. Yay! How was your Christmas? Sunny and warm I hope? Did you get or do anything special and fun? 🙂

      • Glad to hear that you are doing alright. As you know, Xmas in Far East is no fun. There is no white Xmas and turkey. The weather is hot and humid as usual all year long. Most of us do not celebrate it, so we just stay home to have quite Xmas day or alternatively like many Sporeans would travel to the region on long holidays.

      • Ahh gotcha. I guess holiday celebrations are pretty local. Halloween is a North American thing too and I keep forgetting that what is on one country’s calendar isn’t on others. But the bright side is that you had no snow or ice there-ever yay!!!! 🙂 Ooohh you make a great point about travelling – good opportunity for getting away for sure.

  4. Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your blog.
You have some really good posts and I believe I would be
a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d
love to write some material for your blog in exchange
for a link back to mine. Please blast me an e-mail if interested.
    Regards!

    • Thank you for the kinds words. I am not looking for a writer as this is a personal blog with my own arts/crafts and supporting original thoughts. Thank you for the offer.
